The Bilby
The Bilby is a desert dweller in Australia. It is classified as a marsupial which is the same class as kangaroos and wallabies. There were only two of its kind but one went extinct during the 1950s. Reduction of its habitat has caused it to be in the endangered list. Today, the Bilby is in competition with other species for new environments. Their long ears and long nose make this animal unique.
