Waverly Hills, Kentucky
This 2-storey building was opened in 1910. However, the one that remains standing now is the reconstructed version that opened in 1926. The place houses tuberculosis patients during the mid-20th century. It was a time when the said disease became the leading cause of death. The place itself has seen over 63,000 deaths throughout the years. This was also due to the experiments used to treat the patients, which eventually resulted to more deaths. This site has become a really popular place among ghost hunters and was featured in several shows. It is said that a young boy keeps showing up in this place when there are visitors.
