Villisca Ax Murder House, Iowa
Perhaps, this house has seen the most violent of all stories. This place used to be a residence for a family of 8 people, with 6 children. One night, an unknown assailant broke in and killed all of them. He used an ax to commit the crime. Though several people were tried and interrogated, none of them was convicted. To this date, this crime remains unsolved. This is perhaps why those who have been killed in this house kept coming back to scare people. Faint cries of children can be heard all the time. They are also heard coming up and down the house as their footsteps can be heard even by the neighbors.
