St. Augustine Lighthouse, Florida
It was built just in 1974 and is still active until now. The lighthouse itself and the surrounding buildings are said to be haunted, even if there are people residing there. They have witnessed the apparition of two girls. They were said to be the daughters of the man who built the original lighthouse in the 1870’s. Those who have slept in the place have also been disturbed during their sleep with several screams of help. There were times when shadows can be seen or footsteps coming up the lighthouse.
