Lizzie Borden House
Lizzie Borden became a notorious name in Fall River, Massachusetts after being tried for the murder of her father and stepmother, Andrew and Abby Borden on August 4, 1892. Abby was killed first in one of the bedrooms, then Andrew came next at the couch in the living room. Lizzie had a civil relationship with her stepmother. She had different versions of her story during the investigation, but the jury acquitted her.
