Waverly Hills Sanitorium, Kentucky
The structure was opened in 1910 and it became a hospital treating tuberculosis patients. This was until the 20th century during the period that the said disease was widespread. It is said that over 63,000 patients died in this building, and mostly because of the malpractices and experiments done by the people that were supposed to take care of them. No wonder that this is one of the scariest places on earth. Several paranormal experts have investigated if it was really haunted and there were many evidences that proved it was.
