The Sydney Funnel Web Spider has a body length of one to five centimeters with sizes from medium to large. Both male and female Sydney Funnel Web Spiders have glossy and dark colors that range from dark plum, brown, black or blue black. This spider can immediately be recognized because of the hairless carapace that covers its cephalothorax. You have to be careful when in contact with this spider because its venom is highly toxic for human beings.
