Wolf Spiders
With excellent eyesight and amazing hunting skills, it can be too easy for the Wolf Spiders to find food. These spiders mostly rely on camouflage to protect themselves while they hunt. They also hunt and live on the ground. During the 17th century, people believed that a single bite from the Wolf Spiders would cause “Tarantism.” It’s is a fatal disorder that causes excitability and restlessness. The truth is Tarantism is due to a Black Widow’s bite.
