Royal Gorge Bridge, Colorado, USA
This bridge used to be the highest in the world way back in 2001. It spans 880 feet between the towers, is 1,260 feet long and 18 feet wide with the towers 150 feet high. It became a tourist attraction having an amusement park, zoo and some rides connected to both ends of the bridge. In 2013, a wide fire damaged a large portion of the bridge. It was reopened in 2015 with a grand ceremony.
