The Door to Hell
This natural gas crater field has been burning non-stop since 1971. This is probably how hell looks like! The crater, which is located in Derweze, Turkmenistan, expands to 5,350 square meters. Think of the size of a football field in the US! After the field collapsed, it was set on fire to stop methane gas from spreading.
