7 Scariest Dinosaurs We’re Glad Are No Longer Around

Spinosaurus

Spinosaurus falls under the classification of a theropod dinosaur which populated the area now known as North Africa. It lived through the Albian to Cenomanian times during the Cretacious period. They may have been the largest carnivorous dinosaurs during their time. Archaeologists estimate them to be even bigger than the Giganotosaurus and the notorious Tyrannosaurus-Rex. It weighed about 20 tons and grew to 60 feet in length. Surviving on land and water, it had the ability to hunt in both environments.
